Clinic Descriptions
 
All batting cage, infield and pitching practice time is available during the time of their membershp to all members. Instructional clinics listed below are free of charge to all members and are offered periodically during the months of October through April. Members are able to make up to 5 reservations at any one time. Membership only applies to the registered member. Members without reservation and guests are not allowed without prior approval.

Baserunning and Sliding - Ages 8 to 12
 
Covers baserunning and sliding techniques and strategies. Fly ball positioning and base stealing. Players ages 8 to 12 only.
 
 
Batting Cage - 45MPH Softball
 
Softball batting cage. Speed set at 45MPH. Distance 40 feet. For younger softball players.
 
 
Batting Cage - 50 MPH
 
Baseball batting cage. Speed set at 50MPH. Distance 46 feet. For players of all levels ages 12 and under only.
 
 
Batting Cage - 60 MPH
 
Baseball batting cage. Speed set at 60MPH. Distance 60 feet. For players of all levels ages 13 and older only.

Learn the art of using the entire field as a hitter - how to with power and consistancy as well as increase your batting average by identifying ideal types of pitches and pitch locations to maximize your hitting abilities. For ages 12-18 only.
 
 
Outfield 101 - Ages 8 to 12
 
Basic fundamentals of the outfield position for both first time and experienced players ages 12 and under.
 
 
Pitcher Defensive Skills
 
Learn the skills required to play the pitching position after the pitch as been delivered. Proper technics for bunts, ground balls, covering first, passed balls and backing up throws will be covered. For Baseball players of all ages.
 
 
Pitchers - Holding Runners and Pickoffs - Ages 11 to 14
 
Proper Mechanics for holding runners and pick-offs. Pitchers must be familiar with all aspects of pitching mechanics and pitching from the stretch. There is an intermediate skill requirement to partciipate.
 
 
Pitchers Cuff and Elbow Development (1 Hr)
 
Utilizing elastic band drills, free weights, and body-weight resistance, players will be able to strengthen the muscles in and around their rotator cuff, elbow, and core.
 
 
Pitching - Pitching from the Stretch 101
 
Learn the basics of pitching from the stretch and avoiding balks. Experienced pitchers ages only.
 
 
Pitching - Pitching from the Stretch 201
 
Learn the proper technique for holding runners on, picking off runners and giving your catcher and opportunity to catch a runner stealing. In depth discussion of how to avoid balks will also be covered. For experienced pitchers only.
 
 
Pitching - Throwing a Breaking Ball
 
Learn the proper mechanics for throwing a breaking ball to maximize control and minimize injury. Both the cutter and curve ball will be discussed. For EXPERIENCED pitchers only.

Learn the basics of throwing the circle change. For experienced pitchers ages 10 to 12 only.
